Overview: Send a Fighter and a T-Copter towards Max’s HQ. The Fighter and T-Copter will shield the capturing Infantry. Build many B-Copters to trick the AI into building Missiles and lure enemy Anti-Airs into your other units’ range.
Kanbei cannot follow this guide because of increased costs. He has an alternative guide.
For full Power, you need to destroy 2 units in 1 day. The units destroyed can be Infantries, T-Copters or Anti-Airs depending on how Max moves.
For full Technique, you can only lose 1 unit, but it isn’t necessary.
Day 1:
– Build a T-Copter in the east airport.
– Build an Infantry in the base directly above that.
Day 2:
– Load the Infantry onto the T-Copter. Move it 6E.
– Build a Fighter in the east airport.
– Save, and do not overwrite until Day 6.
Day 3:
– Move the T-Copter 6E.
– Move the Fighter 9E.
– Build a B-Copter in the east airport.
Max Day 3:
– He must move his Anti-Air northeast.
Day 4:
– Move the T-Copter 5E.
– Move the Fighter 9E.
– Move the B-Copter 6E.
– Build a B-Copter in the east airport.
– Build a Mech in the eastmost base.
Day 5:
– Move the Mech 2N and start capturing the city.
– Move the Fighter 4N 5E.
– Move the T-Copter 6E. Drop the Infantry W.
– Move the eastmost B-Copter 2N 4E.
– Move the other B-Copter 6E.
– Build 2 B-Copters.
Max Day 5:
– He must have either no Anti-Airs which can attack your Fighter next turn, or only one which can do so and is 1N 1E of the bridge. Having any other arrangement of Anti-Airs will ruin the capture.
Day 6:
– Start capturing Max’s HQ.
– Move the Fighter 1W.
– Move the T-Copter 3N.
– Save.
– Set up so that you can destroy 2 units on the next day. Example:
– Move the eastmost B-Copter 3N 3E.
– Move the next eastmost B-Copter 4N 2E.
– Move the other 2 B-Copters 6E.
– Build a Tank in the eastmost base.
Day 7:
– Destroy 2 units. Example:
– Destroy an Anti-Air with your Tank and B-Copter/Mech.
– Destroy the weakened Infantry with your B-Copter.
– If you lost 1 unit, build until you have 10 units.
– Finish capturing Max’s HQ.

Overview: Build two Anti-Airs to attack Max and use a capturing Infantry to lure Max’s B-Copter away from his HQ. Thanks to Kanbei’s increased defense, Max’s 4HP Infantry can attack Kanbei’s 10HP Infantry without Kanbei’s taking any visible damage.
For full Power, you must destroy 2 units in 1 day. You have the opportunity to do this twice, once on Day 6 and another on Day 7. On Day 6 you can destroy a Mech and an Infantry (in a counterattack). On Day 7 you can destroy a B-Copter and a T-Copter/Infantry.
For full Technique, you can only lose 1 unit. This unit is the T-Copter which drops off your Infantry.
Day 1:
– Build a T-Copter in the east airport.
– Build an Infantry in the base above that.
Day 2:
– Load the Infantry onto the T-Copter. Move the T-Copter 6E.
– Build an Anti-Air in the eastmost base.
– Save, and do not overwrite until Day 6.
Day 3:
– Move the T-Copter 6E.
– Move the Anti-Air 1S 3E.
– Build an Anti-Air in the eastmost base.
Max Day 3:
– His Anti-Air must move northwest.
Day 4:
– Move the northeast Anti-Air 4N 1E.
– Move the other Anti-Air 1S 3E.
– Move the T-Copter 1S 5E.
– Build an Infantry in the eastmost base.
– Build a Fighter in the east airport.
Max Day 4:
– His Anti-Air must not move.
– He must build a Mech in his west base.
– Your T-Copter must survive.
Day 5:
– Move the Infantry 2S 1E and start capturing the city.
– Move the T-Copter 1N 5E and drop N.
– Move the northmost Anti-Air 3E and attack the Anti-Air. Your Anti-Air must have 9HP left. (It’s better if the enemy Anti-Air has 4HP left.)
– Move the other Anti-Air 4N 1E and destroy the Infantry.
– Build an Infantry in the eastmost base.
Max Day 5:
– His B-Copter must attack your capturing Infantry.
– Your Anti-Air must have 5HP left.
– He must build a Fighter, and an Infantry in the west base.
Day 6:
– Start capturing Max’s HQ.
– Destroy the Mech with your 10HP Anti-Air.
– Continue capturing the city.
– Join the Infantry to the capturing Infantry.
– Move the Fighter 9E.
– Save.
– Attack the Infantry 1N of Max’s HQ with your Anti-Air. The Infantry must have 4HP left.
– Save.
Max Day 6:
– Your HQ-capturing Infantry must be at full health.
Day 7:
– Destroy the B-Copter with your Fighter.
– Destroy an Infantry/T-Copter with your 10HP Anti-Air.
(Note: You actually don’t need to do this as you’ve already destroyed 2 units on Day 6: the Mech and a suicidal Infantry. If you’re trying to get the medals then go ahead and add more kills to your collection.)
– Build until you have 10 units.
– Finish capturing Max’s HQ.
